Dr. Juanda, M.Pd. has devoted himself in the field of education for more than twenty five years. After graduating from his doctorate program in language education from Universitas Negeri Jakarta, he has consistently carried out language research that focuses more on applied linguistics. Applied linguistics is his choice because this field implements more fields of science that are related to linguistics. Another principle, that it can involve scientific disciplines other than linguistics. He has written include Subtitles as Language Learning Aids, Implicit Messages in Memes During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Dynamics of the Use of Various West Javanese Dialects, Behavior Restriction of Customs in Pasundan, Implementation of Characterization in the “Delikan” Model, Illocutionari Expresives in Meme of Covid-19, and Illocutionary Speech Act in Comic During the Covid-19 Pandemic. He is a lecturer at Program Studi Sastra Inggris, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Universitas Komputer Indonesia.
