Muhammad Rayhan Bustam, S.S., M.Hum. is a passionate and enthusiastic lecturer with 12 years of teaching experience in English Department, Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Komputer Indonesia. His research interests focus on discourse, functional grammar and related issues, including discourse analysis, media discourse, political discourse, and critical discourse analysis. Currently, he is developing his research towards the relationship between discourse studies and social semiotic theory of multimodal communication. Several publications he has done in some of national journals and international seminar proceedings have focused on research topics around this multimodal discourse analysis. This scientific experience led him to serve on editorial board in a couple of language and linguistic journals in Indonesia.
