The South-East Asian Sales Competition (SEASAC) stands as a testament to its reputation as a pinnacle event in the field of marketing. Drawing participants from around Asia, including Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia, this competition has become a globally recognized platform for aspiring marketing professionals.
With 135 talented individuals showcasing their skills, SEASAC 2023 was a highly competitive and sought-after event. The participants engaged in multifaceted assessments, ranging from sales pitching, business management, market planning, time management, risk mitigation, and interpersonal communication to business budgeting and logistics management. SEASAC 2023 aimed to provide a distinctive perspective on how ASEAN is perceived by the global community, thus fostering cross-cultural understanding.
The Semifinal and Final stages of SEASAC 2023, held at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) on October 18-19, 2023, brought together 21 exceptionally talented individuals from Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines. These participants represented their best performances in sales and marketing, making their journey to the semifinals remarkable.

Navigating through this tough competition, Rafi M Hafiz Athufa from Class 2021 and Yudha Putra Permana from Class 2022, hailing from the English Department of Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM), emerged as shining stars. The supervision of Dr. Retno Purwani Sari and Mia Yuwita, M. App. Ling. further guided their exemplary performance. In a delightful turn, Yudha Putra Permana from the English Department emerged as the Favorite Performer for the Most Photogenic participant, adding an extra feather to UNIKOM’s cap.
