Another proud achievement has been made by a student of the Indonesian Computer University (UNIKOM). Naila Hasna Huwaida, a student of the English Literature Study Program, won 3rd place (Bronze Medal) in the Women’s Single Hand Empty Category at the Bandung Lautan Api Championship 7 national championship. The competition, organized by Sayap Rajawali Organizer on January 24-25, 2026, brought together the best athletes from all over Indonesia. Amidst fierce competition, Naila impressed the judges with her precise technique and high artistic expression.
Naila’s success is undoubtedly linked to the role of the UNIKOM Pencak Silat Student Activity Unit (UKM). As a platform for nurturing campus athletes, the UNIKOM Pencak Silat UKM has served as a “crucible” for Naila to hone her skills. Through a disciplined training schedule, intensive coaching, and a supportive environment among UKM members, Naila was able to balance her responsibilities as an English Literature student and an accomplished athlete.
The English Literature Program at UNIKOM commends this achievement as proof that English Literature students can excel in multiple dimensions. The synergy between academic support from the program and physical and mental development from the Pencak Silat UKM has proven to yield achievements that bring honor to the university.
