First Place Winner in the University-Level Student Achievement Competition (Pilmapres) and Will Represent UNIKOM at the LLDIKTI IV Level
The UNIKOM English Literature Study Program achieved a remarkable accomplishment through the success of Yudha Putra Pratama as the First Place Winner of the University-Level Student Achievement Competition (Pilmapres), who will subsequently represent UNIKOM at the LLDIKTI IV Level Competition. Appreciation is extended to the Head of the Study Program, SAIS lecturers, supervising lecturers, the faculty-level jury team, and the entire academic community of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences who have provided full support. This achievement brings pride and honor to the UNIKOM Faculty of Cultural Sciences, with hopes that Yudha will once again achieve the best results in the competition at the LLDIKTI IV level and beyond.
3rd Place Winner in the International English Essay Competition at the 9th Edition of Padjadjaran English Competition
The English Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, secured Third Place in the International English Essay Competition at the 9th edition of PEC, which has been recognized as a prestigious international-scale event for strengthening English language competence through writing skills and critical thinking, capturing social phenomena and popular culture. UNIKOM English Literature sent eight delegates to compete in several competition categories, namely Essay Writing, Short Story Writing, and Speech. With high dedication, the delegates demonstrated their best abilities, and the Essay Writing category successfully brought home an award.
2nd Place Winner in the 2019 National Literary Competition for the Poetry Musicalization Category
The 2019 National Literary Competition organized by the Student Senate of Widyatama University from November 4 to December 6, 2019, successfully brought achievements for three students of the UNIKOM English Literature Study Program: Abdul Malik Aziz, Muhamad Rizky Kaira, and Lanang Dwi Wicaksono. The three of them achieved victory in the Poetry Musicalization category through a work entitled “Unheard” with country-genre music. This achievement is a source of pride for the academic community, affirming the students’ creativity and abilities in the fields of art and literature.
UNIKOM Princess 2019 Winner
On Thursday, August 8, 2019, the Grand Final of the 2019 UNIKOM Prince and Princess Selection was held on the 17th floor of the UNIKOM Smart Campus Building, bringing proud news for the English Literature Study Program after one of its students, Nurin Fadhila Fasya from the Class of 2018, was successfully selected as the winner of UNIKOM Princess 2019. This achievement serves as proof of Fasya’s ability and dedication in representing English Literature at this prestigious university-level event.
