The English Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, UNIKOM has held thesis hearings and research proposal seminars for the odd semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, from February 24 to February 26 on the 11th floor, in classrooms and meeting rooms. This event was held as the final stage for students to complete their coursework. A total of 2 students successfully completed their thesis defense, and 28 students successfully completed their research proposal seminar for the odd semester.
In the research proposal seminar, students are required to present the first three chapters of their research to propose their topics and titles for approval and review by examiners, advisors, and fellow students. The thesis defense is the final stage following the conclusion of the seminar. These stages are part of the process for students to achieve their bachelor’s degrees.
With the completion of the proposal seminar and thesis defense, the English Literature study program at UNIKOM has demonstrated its commitment to preparing its students to become critical individuals who can actively participate in the academic fields they pursue in society.
