The English Literature Study Program, Faculty of Humanities (FIB), Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) officially welcomed 25 new students for the 2026/2027 Academic Year. The New Student Orientation (PMB) series took place with great enthusiasm over five days, from September 21 to 25, 2026.
The orientation kicked off on Monday, September 21, 2026, with the official UNIKOM Senate Open Session at Sasana Budaya Ganesha (Sabuga), Bandung. During this inauguration ceremony, all new students were formally admitted into the university’s academic community by the university leadership and Senate members.
The program continued from September 22 to 25, 2026, with campus life orientation activities held at the Bikasoga Sports Complex and the UNIKOM Campus environment. Over the course of four days, the freshmen were introduced to the department’s academic culture, campus facilities, Student Activity Units (UKM), and the English Literature Student Association (HIMA).
A key highlight of this year’s orientation was the career preparation and sharing session featuring distinguished alumni. The alumni provided valuable insights into career prospects, the creative and language industries, and strategies for navigating university life to ensure readiness for global and national competition.
With the arrival of these 25 new students, the UNIKOM English Literature Study Program remains dedicated to nurturing and empowering every student’s potential toward achieving academic and professional excellence in the digital era.
