The English Literature Student Association (HIMA SAIS) has once again organized its Basic Leadership Training (Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan / LDK) as a strategic initiative to cultivate a resilient and highly dedicated next generation of organizational leaders. This year, the routine character-building event was held on June 27, 2026, in the refreshing outdoor environment of Hilltop Camp, Lembang.
Serving as a crucial milestone in the association’s leadership efforts, the event was officially opened by the Student Affairs Advisory Lecturer of the English Literature Study Program, Dr. Asih Prihandini, M.Hum. In her opening remarks, she emphasized that the essence of LDK goes far beyond a mere annual formality; it is a fundamental platform for building leadership spirit, responsibility, and strong team solidarity among students.
This year’s intensive leadership training was attended by 15 selected participants from the English Literature class of 2025. Taking full advantage of the supportive natural atmosphere of Lembang, the participants were equipped with various comprehensive sessions, including leadership theories, organizational management simulations, and group dynamics.
Through this leadership program at Hilltop Camp, HIMA SAIS hopes that these fifteen students from the batch of 2025 will transform into revolutionary future leaders, ready to bring innovation and continuous progress to the association in the years to come.
