The English Literature Study Program at Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) reaffirmed its commitment to academic quality by successfully holding the Batch IV Thesis Defense for the Even Semester of Academic Year 2025/2026. The final examination took place over three days, from August 19 to 21, 2026, in Room 11026 and the Faculty Meeting Room.
A total of 25 prospective graduates participated in this batch. Each candidate presented their scientific research findings before the board of examiners and defended the academic arguments developed throughout their final projects.
This thesis defense is an integral part of the study program’s continuous efforts to cultivate a vibrant academic atmosphere. The evaluation process is designed not merely as a formal milestone toward graduation, but as a critical, constructive, and educational space for scientific discourse between faculty and students.
In alignment with the principles of FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation), the comprehensive assessment focused on measuring the achievement of Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs). Key criteria such as analytical depth, research originality, critical thinking skills, accurate English language proficiency, and adherence to academic ethics served as the primary evaluation benchmarks to ensure high-quality, globally competitive candidates.
The Head of the English Literature Study Program expressed sincere appreciation to all thesis advisors and examiners for their dedication, while offering warm congratulations and encouragement to the 25 prospective graduates of Batch IV. It is expected that these prospective graduates will carry forward the values of integrity, scientific objectivity, and professionalism nurtured during their academic journey at UNIKOM.
