On Saturday, June 21, 2025, a webinar titled “Zotero 101: Organize Your References with Ease” was held to introduce and guide participants in using Zotero—a reference management software that greatly assists in the preparation of academic papers. The event was conducted online via the Zoom platform at 1:00 PM WIB.
The webinar featured the main speaker, *Prof. Dr. Ir. Lia Warlia, M.Si*, who is widely recognized as a senior academic and practitioner in the field of scientific research. During the session, Prof. Lia provided a comprehensive understanding of the importance of efficient and systematic reference management in scientific writing, particularly for students, lecturers, and researchers.
Participants were guided on how to manage digital references, automatically generate bibliographies, and easily insert citations into documents. The use of Zotero has proven to save time while enhancing accuracy in scientific writing. This webinar served as a highly beneficial learning platform, especially amid the growing demand for high-quality academic writing.
With this activity, it is hoped that more students and researchers will be able to utilize technology such as Zotero to improve efficiency and accuracy in writing scientific papers. The high enthusiasm of the participants shows that the need for technical training like this is very relevant and needed in today’s academic world.
