Five students from the English Literature Study Program at Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) have officially been deployed to participate in the “KKN Berdampak” (Impactful Community Service) program held in Coblong District, Bandung. This initiative serves as a tangible form of the institution’s social responsibility and commitment toward its surrounding community and environment.
The “KKN Berdampak” program is carried out collaboratively under the direct guidance of the West Java Provincial Government (Pemprov Jawa Barat). Under this directive, participating students are encouraged to deliver relevant, practical, and solution-oriented programs that address local social, economic, and environmental challenges.
Coblong District was selected as the target area to strengthen the synergy between UNIKOM and its immediate local stakeholders. The involvement of these five English Literature students is expected to showcase their academic knowledge, communication skills, and social awareness in empowering the local community.
The Head of the English Literature Study Program expressed high appreciation for the students’ active participation, hoping that their contribution to “KKN Berdampak” will not only bring meaningful impacts to the residents of Coblong but also foster adaptive, empathetic, and community-minded student characters.
