A total of 16 students from the English Literature Study Program of Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) proudly marked a significant milestone by actively participating in the 9th International Conference on Business, Economics, Social Sciences, and Humanities (ICOBEST) 2026. This prestigious global academic conference was held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Auditorium on the 17th Floor of the UNIKOM Smart Building.
Carrying the grand theme “Navigating Global Challenges Through Innovation, Sustainability, and Inclusive Growth,” the event featured distinguished experts, researchers, and academics from various countries, including South Africa, Croatia, and Romania. The participation of these English Literature students serves as a strategic step for the study program’s internationalization, showcasing the quality of UNIKOM students on a global stage.
The involvement of these 16 students has brought a profound positive impact in elevating the academic atmosphere within the department. During the event, they did not merely act as attendees; they presented their ideas, published their linguistic and literary research findings, and actively engaged in cross-cultural and interdisciplinary discussions.
Through their participation in ICOBEST 2026, the students are expected to continue expanding their international research collaboration networks.
